MER OM ÅHUSVÅNGEN

VAD: Företaget Gillöga ska uppföra omkring 300 bostadsrätter och fristående villor i en blandad bebyggelse i en ny stadsdel i Åhus. Bostadsområdet utvecklas tillsammans med Möllers Arkitektkontor, med ambitionen att skapa ett trivsamt och socialt hållbart bostadsområde som stärker den bostadssociala sammanhållningen.

Detaljplanen beskriver området som en tät, varierad och blandad stadsdel av hög arkitektonisk kvalitet med bebyggelse- och gatustruktur. Stadsdelen ska utgå ifrån Åhus lokala förutsättningar och bidra till att främja Åhus karaktäristiska sandiga gräshedsmarker och deras biologiska mångfald.

VAR: I sydvästra delen av Åhus, norr om Ripavägen, är det nära till naturen, skolan och Åhus centrala bykärna. Bland grannarna finns också en av Sveriges främsta golfbanor, Kristianstad Golfklubb, och en glassfabrik. Anknytningen till den senare  ger också stadsdelens gator smakfulla namn, som exempelvis Pistagegatan och Toppinggatan.

NÄR: Säljstart planeras under sensommar/höst 2020. Förväntad byggstart i början av 2021.

HUR: Projektet är indelat i flera etapper och detaljplanen, som vann laga kraft i augusti 2019, möjliggör ett bostadsområde för cirka 300 bostäder. I den första etappen är 17 bostäder planerade, och i den andra etappen ytterligare 15.
